# Six available free agents West Ham could call on

Despite the transfer window slamming shut on Wednesday, there are still some talented free agents out there who have a lot to offer a club like West Ham in a time of need.

The Hammers haven’t been blessed with great luck when it comes to injuries so far this season, with the likes of Andy Carroll, Andre Ayew and Aaron Cresswell all expected to be sidelined for between 1-3 months respectively.

With that in mind, the Hammers are just a couple more dangerous injuries away from having a thread-bare squad – much like everyone else in that regard.

We’ve been no strangers to dipping into the free agent market to bring in players on short-term deals. Abdul Razak and Mladen Petric come to mind, neither making a lasting impact.

Regardless, should the injury bug strike again, here are six names the Hammers could call on to fill the void in the short-term.
