Aulas has said that they are negotiating with Ghezzal’s advisors about a new contract and that he doesn’t want to leave Lyon.

*“I held his hand, and spoke with him; He wants me to talk to his advisers, and I will call them this week to break the deadlock. It would be great if we can reach an agreement, but we have received offers for him from West Ham.”*

West Ham have a £7m bid on the table for the 24-year-old winger as they hope to recruit one more player before the transfer window slams shut.
