Combined XI: Chelsea vs West Ham

With the Premier League just around the corner and West Ham’s starting game against Chelsea the first Monday Night Football of the season, we had a crack at making a combined XI and bench of the two teams for if all players were fit and available.

Last season West Ham managed to get 4 points out of Chelsea which could so easily of been six if a cruel decision in the final few seconds at Stamford Bridge had been changed. Andy Carroll had a field day scoring 2 goals against them home and away.

A talking point that may arise is Michy Batshuayi who could’ve turned up against the team he is currently contracted under if West Ham had struck a deal.

Both teams have weakness’ which would both teams could easily fill for the other. There might be some big misses from both teams, however, this was based mainly on last season and how the teams played.
