# West Ham increase contract offer to Carlos Bacca

According to Gazzetto Dello Sport journalist Nicolo Schira, West Ham have increased their wage offer to Bacca in attempt to sign the striker.

Schira is claiming that West Ham have upped their wage offer to €5m-per-season. Their previous offer was €4.5m-per-season. This means that the Hammers are prepared to pay an extra €500k-per-year in order to land the striker.

They are offering him a four-year contract, which would take his deal into 2020. West Ham have already agreed a €30m transfer fee with AC Milan for the striker, but personal terms have been rumbling on for some time now.

West Ham are now hoping that their improved offer will persuade the prolific Colombian to join the Premier League side and solve their goalscoring woes coming into the season.
