Four Findings: West Ham 2-3 Juventus

After a successful 3-0 victory over NK Domzale West Ham were prepared for their official opening game vs Italian champions, Juventus. Although the teams seemed like a bit of a mismatch West Ham were always going to give their all and, in the end, it seemed like West Ham made a good show of themselves.

The game looked over after 20 minutes as the visitors led by two goals thanks to Dybala and Mandzukic. However with a late goal in the first half and another at the start of the second Andy Carroll helped the Hammers regain some pride.

As the game was only a friendly both sides switched most of their team out and by the end of the game West Ham only had a handful of first teamers left on the pitch. Unfortunately, this wasn’t enough to stop Zaza from grabbing a late winner however the Hammers were proud of what they produced.

Here we loom at four things we learnt from the game.
