West Ham welcome Juventus to the London Stadium tomorrow afternoon for the ‘unofficial’ opening game at the new home.
The Hammers beat NK Domzale 3-0 in the Europa League on Thursday evening in the first competitive game at the new stadium, but the club deem this Juventus friendly in the Betway Cup as the true opening game – there’s even a ceremony planned pre-game!
Juventus manager Massimiliano Allegri has confirmed his team for the game, and boy is it strong:
Twitter: .@OfficialAllegri : “Our #WHUJuve line-up: Buffon; Dani Alves,Benatia,Rugani,Alex Sandro; Lemina,Pjanic,Asamoah; Pereyra; Dybala,Mandzukic.” (@juventusfcen)
West Ham will need to put out a strong team in order to compete and given the way this game is being hyped up by the hierarchy, we expect as such.
He is our predicted team for the big game ahead of the new season.
