# Diafra Sakho’s failed sale blocking Carlos Bacca move

According to [Gianluca Di Marzio](https://gianlucadimarzio.com/calciomercato/west-ham-bacca-affare-bloccato-da-sakho-gli-aggiornamenti/), West Ham are blocking a move to sign Carlos Bacca for the time being due to Diafra Sakho’s failed move to West Brom.

The report says that Carlos Bacca has now agreed to join West Ham, with a €30m already finalised with AC Milan. Bacca was due to come to England in order to have a medical and complete his move, but the transfer has now been blocked.

The move cannot happen because West Ham have been unable to offload Sakho, who was set to move to West Brom for £16m.

Sakho’s move to West Brom broke down over a medical, which has now caused the Carlos Bacca deal to halt.

This has caused a domino effect, with Diafra Sakho, Carlos Bacca and Simone Zaza all involved. AC Milan can only sign Zaza if they sell Bacca, which means a number of clubs have now been affected by Sakho’s failed move to West Brom.

West Ham have put Bacca’s transfer on hold for the time being while they assess their options. They hope Sakho will leave sooner or later this summer and Bacca can arrive to replace him.
