# Carlos Bacca could be set for West Ham U-turn

AC Milan striker Carlos Bacca could be set for a massive u-turn and sign for West Ham, according to [Calcio Mercato](https://www.calciomercato.it/news/391169/calciomercato-milan-esclusivo-si-riapre-bacca-west-ham.html).

Bacca’s head is thought to have been turned by the possibility of Europa League football at West Ham next season and is now more interested in a move to the Premier League side.

The Hammers qualified for the play-off round last night by beating Domzale 3-0 at the Olympic Stadium – their first game at their new ground.

Bacca is keen to join a team competing in Europe, which is why last night’s result has caused a shake up in the Bacca situation. A four-year contract worth £75,000-a-week plus bonuses is on the table and has been for some time.

The forward previously rejected West Ham in the hope of finding another club with Champions League football. However, it looks like he could now settle for West Ham if they do make it to the group stages of the Europa League.

West Ham already have a €30m deal agreed with AC Milan. It is now down to Bacca to make his final choice.

The report also says that Milan could reinvest the money into signing Juventus forward, and former West Ham target, Simone Zaza.
