# West Ham target Simone Zaza not keen in Premier League move

According to a report from Italian news source [Gazzetta dello Sport](https://www.gazzetta.it/), as reported by [talkSPORT](https://talksport.com/football/west-ham-and-watford-blow-striker-target-simone-zaza-not-interested-premier-league-move), Juventus forward Simone Zaza is keen to remain in Italy this summer – despite interest from Watford, West Ham and some [links](https://readsouthampton.com/2016/06/21/southampton-ready-to-pay-20m-for-juventus-forward/) with Southampton.

Zaza has been frequently [linked](https://readwestham.com/2016/07/23/west-ham-turn-to-simone-zaza-after-latest-bacca-snub/) with a move to East London in recent weeks but it now looks as though any hope of bringing the erratic Italian international to the club has been quashed.

It was also [reported](https://readwestham.com/2016/07/30/west-ham-forward-target-rejects-move-serie/) just last week, however, that Zaza was set to reject any advances from West Ham regarding a move to bring him to The Olympic Stadium but it now looks as though a move to the Premier League as a whole has been ruled out.

Although Zaza is keen on a move away from Juventus in order to find first-team football on a consistent basis, it seems as though he is keen to remain in his homeland for the foreseeable future.

Zaza played just 19 times for Juventus in his maiden season with the Serie A giants; mainly through cameo appearances, also.

He played for Italy at Euro 2016 but will be remembered for his only real contribution to the cause – a simply shocking penalty that helped Germany to defeat Italy in a bizarre penalty shootout.
