# Sobakken: West Ham target Augustinsson not for sale

FC Copenhagen manager Stale Solbakken has confirmed that his side have rejected several offers for left-back Ludwig Augustinsson and he will not leave the club this summer.

The 22-year-old was believed to be [subject to a £5m bid](https://readwestham.com/2016/07/31/west-ham-set-sign-ludwig-augustinsson/) from West Ham last week, but the Hammers will need to improve on that offer if they stand any chance of signing him.

*“‘Ludde’ will play the next year here no matter what. We have rejected quite a few bids on him, but only one that we found interesting enough”*, says manager Stale Solbakken to [Ekstra Bladet](https://www.bold.dk/fodbold/nyheder/fck-har-afvist-mange-bud-paa-augustinsson/).

It was recently announced that Aaron Cresswell would be sidelined for at least four months due to a knee injury sustained in West Ham’s preparations for the coming [Premier League](https://readpl.com/) season, which starts in two weeks.

Augustinsson was selected to Sweden’s [Euro 2016](https://readeuro2016.com/) squad following an impressive season with Danish side FC Copenhagen and has also been linked with a move to the [Premier League](https://readpl.com/) with [Liverpool](https://readliverpoolfc.com/), says the [Mirror](https://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/liverpool-target-ludwig-augustinsson-transfer-5961065).
