# West Ham to make £20m Andre Ayew move

According to a report from the [Daily Mail](https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-3716359/West-Ham-bid-20m-Andre-Ayew-Slaven-Bilic-looks-bolster-attacking-options.html?ITO=1490&ns_mchannel=rss&ns_campaign=1490), West Ham are readying a massive £20 million move for Swansea City attacker Andre Ayew.

It’s been well documented in the past couple of months that The Hammers have been actively searching around for striking reinforcements ahead of the coming season as they look to bolster their front-line.

Now, it looks like Ayew is the next name on Slaven Bilic’s hit list and West Ham are all but set to test Swansea’s resolve with a whopping £20 million bid.

Ayew’s versatility could come in handy to West Ham, also, if they are to buy him. The Ghanian can play on the left flank and is a more than capable finisher up top.

He bagged 12 Premier League goals last season in his maiden campaign with Swansea after being signed on a free transfer from Ligue 1 giants Marseille.

The Swans are said to have rejected an initial approach worth £16 million from West Ham, according to the report, but this has not put them off and Bilic’s pursuit of Ayew is very much alive.

The 26-year-old was offered to West Ham by Marseille on a free transfer last season but, now seemingly foolishly, the proposal was turned away.
