# Barcelona and Arsenal join West Ham in Mario Mandzukic chase

According to Spanish source [Mundo Deportivo](https://www.mundodeportivo.com/futbol/fc-barcelona/20160729/403560855259/exclusiva-md-mandzukic-se-suma-a-la-lista-del-barca.html), Barcelona are interested in signing Mario Mandzukic this summer, who is also a reported target for Arsenal and West Ham.

Slaven Bilic and Co. are having to draw up a fresh list of striker targets after they were definitively turned down by Carlos Bacca this week who claims he will only leave Milan for a Champions League club.

One of the players they’re now looking at is Mario Mandzukic. The 30-year-old striker worked with Bilic during their time together with the Croatian national team which leaves the Hammers well-placed for a move.

Mandzukic only joined Juventus last summer in a £16.1m deal from [Atletico Madrid](https://readlaliga.com/), and scored 13 goals in 36 appearances, but following the £75m arrival of Gonzalo Higuain in Turin, Mandzukic’s place in the squad has come into question.

A move is likely and Barcelona have added the Croatian to their shortlist of strikers to sign as a backup for the famed ‘MSN’ partnership of Lionel Messi, Luis Suarez and Neymar.

[Gazzetta dello Sport](https://www.gazzettaworld.com/news/transfer-market/arsenal-rival-west-ham-juventus-mandzukic/) also claim that Arsenal are interested in Mandzukic this summer as they too look to add another striker to their ranks ahead of the new season.

It’s believed that Mandzukic can leave Juventus this summer if a bid worth £17m comes in for him, and the Hammers are in talks to get a deal done.
