# Hamburg join race for West Ham target Lemina

According to [Eurosport](https://www.eurosport.de/fussball/transfermarkt/2015-2016/transfers-hsv-20-millionen-fur-lemina-noch-ein-kracher-fur-labbadia_sto5699660/story.shtml), Hamburg have joined the race to sign Juventus midfielder Mario Lemina.

Hamburg are now interested in the midfielder, along with a host of Premier League clubs. West Ham, Leicester, Stoke and Watford are all keen on the midfielder, so their is fierce competition for his signature.

It is thought that Juventus value him at €25m, which may put off a few clubs in the race to sign him. Real Betis and RB Leipzig are also thought to be eyeing up the midfielder, too.

The 22-year-old only signed for Juventus in April, after he made his loan move from Marseille permanent. He joined Juventus for €9.5m, which is why their asking price has now inflated to €25m.

He spent last season on loan at Juventus, but only played ten Serie A matches. He scored two goals in that time and did impress onlookers.

West Ham will be hoping that they can beat a number of teams to the signing.
