# Chelsea and Liverpool rivalling West Ham for Andre Ayew

Liverpool have joined Chelsea and West Ham in the race to sign Swansea attacker Andre Ayew, according to the [Metro](https://metro.co.uk/2016/07/26/chelsea-and-liverpool-eye-andre-ayew-transfer-after-swansea-city-exit-hint-6029855/).

Swansea head coach Francesco Guidolin has dropped the biggest hint yet this summer that his star man could leave the Liberty Stadium this summer amid interest from some of the leagues biggest clubs.

‘*Andre is a good guy and a good player, I hope he stays with us but I don’t know,*’ Guidolin said.

‘*It is important to keep him, but it is not my job. My job is to train and to get the team to play well and to get good results. I am confident he will stay.*’

West Ham tried and failed to sign Ayew last summer when he was available on a free transfer after his contract with Marseille expired, but the Ghanaian opted for a move to South Wales and a mega pay-day.

However, one year on and the Hammers are back in for the versatile attacker who can play on the left-wing as well as through the middle.

It is thought Ayew could be had for as little as £12m this summer with both Chelsea and Liverpool also in the running for his services.

Swansea are believed to be interested in West Ham striker Enner Valencia and it’s always possible a player exchange deal could be discussed.
