# West Ham set sights on Ben Yedder

West Ham, who so far have had little success in the transfer market in terms of getting in a new striker, have identified yet another target

According to Darren Lewis of the [Mirror](https://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/west-ham-targeting-toulouse-striker-8486376), Slaven Bilic’s side are looking to sign Toulouse’s Wissam Ben Yedder as they look to get a new front man into the club.

The Hammers are still keen on signing Carlos Bacca from AC Milan and with Ben Yedder being valued at around £8million, they could easily be able to bring in both.

The 25-year-old is about to enter the final year of his contract with the French club, and after scoring 23 goals in 41 games last season, there are obviously a lot of clubs looking at him.

With it being highly unlikely that he’ll extend his deal, Toulouse could well cash in on him this summer rather than lose him on a free next summer.
