# West Ham and Manchester United chasing Joe Allen

West Ham, Manchester United and Swansea are all interested in signing Liverpool midfielder Joe Allen after his eye-catching displays at Euro 2016 with Wales earlier this summer.

According to the [Essex Chronicle](https://www.essexchronicle.co.uk/west-ham-join-manchester-united-and-swansea-in-the-hunt-for-liverpool-ace/story-29513094-detail/story.html), the Hammers were impressed with Allen’s performances during this summer’s Euros where Wales shocked everyone by progressing to the semi-finals where they were beaten by eventual winners Portugal.

Both Manchester United and Allen’s former club Swansea are also said to be keen on signing the central midfielder this summer as an Anfield exit looks increasingly likely.

The 26-year-old is under contract with Liverpool until the summer of 2017 and talks over a new deal have yet to be opened between the two parties.

Jurgen Klopp has spoke out over Allen’s future and the Reds boss revealed the club will discuss Allen’s future and come to a conclusion whether he stays or goes.

“*Obviously Joe Allen is a good player,*” Klopp told SkySports. “*We never doubted this. He played a good European Championship, like the whole Welsh team.*

“*We have to make decisions, we have to find solutions. We have to talk to the player, ask the player and think about our situation. That’s how it works.*“
