West Ham today completed their sixth signing of the summer with the addition of Ashley Fletcher on a four-year deal from Manchester United.
The England U20 international scored nine goals on loan with Barnsley last season, including a goal in the Play-Off final against Millwall.
He turned down a new contract with Manchester United because he didn’t believe in their ability to bring youngsters through and has joined West Ham on a free transfer.
Fletcher is the third youth signing the club have made this summer, following Toni Martinez’s and Domingos Quina’s arrivals from Valencia and Chelsea respectively.
They join promising talents already at the club, but who are the players most likely to reach the top? You never really know until they get the game time in the first-team.
We’ve ranked West Ham’s top 10 players in their academy currently, let us know if you agree with our rankings!
