# £50 for a West Ham seat and it comes with a surprise

The well-documented Boleyn Ground auction allowed fans the chance to purchase seats from the stadium before it get’s torn down, along with other bit of memorabilia from the ground.

Whether your a season-ticket holder or a general fan, you were able to buy one of the 36,000 seats for just £50 earlier this summer.

Our good friends at [KUMB](https://www.kumb.com/) were one of many to buy a seat, but theirs was delivered today with a nasty surprise!

His seat came with an unwelcome serving of bird poo splattered all over the seat.

You’d think the club might’ve gone through the measures of cleaning these seats for the die-hard fans willing to pay their hard-earned money to secure a lasting legacy from the stadium they’d have visited countless times over the years.

Then again, perhaps leaving them in their original state would add to the nostalgic affect they have on their new owners.

Either way, best get out the hot and soapy water, fellas!
