# West Ham very keen on signing Gabbiadini

West Ham, Stoke City and Wolfsburg are all believed to be very keen on making a summer move for Napoli striker Manolo Gabbiadini.

According to reputable Italian journalist [Gianluca di Marzio](https://gianlucadimarzio.com/en/news-en/west-ham-stoke-city-wolfsburg-chasing-napolis-gabbiadini/), Napoli are looking to sell the Italian international forward this summer who was a fringe player for them last term.

Despite playing second-fiddle to the record-breaking Gonzalo Higuain this season, Gabbiadini still managed to find the net nine times this season and record four assists in 30 appearances.

[Wolfsburg](https://readbundesliga.com/) tried and failed to sign the striker during the January transfer window but are hoping their efforts will be more fruitful this time around.

Napoli are in talks with Ajax regarding signing Polish striker Arkadiuzs Milik, who was spotted in Naples over the week, as a possible strike partner for Gonzalo Higuain, making the 24-year-old Gabbiadini the odd man out.

The Serie A side will sanction a sale if their €25m asking price is met in full, which is approximately £21m. However, it is believed that they would be willing to do business a little lower, at €22-23m which is roughly £19m – a club-record fee for West Ham.
