# West Ham have €3.5m bid rejected for Hutchinson

According to [CNN Turk](https://www.cnnturk.com/spor/futbol/besiktas-west-hami-ikinci-kez-reddetti), West Ham have had a second bid rejected for Besiktas’ Canadian midfielder Atiba Hutchinson.

West Ham have reportedly bid €3.5m for the 33-year-old, who can also play at right back. However, Besiktas have rejected the bid for the Canadian, which is West Ham’s second approach for Hutchinson.

Hutchinson has been at Besiktas since 2013 after signing from Dutch side PSV Eindhoven on a free transfer. At the time, the Canadian was looking for a move to the Premier League but failed to attract any major interest. But after 3 years in Turkey, he may finally get his move to England if West Ham can come to an agreement with the Turkish side.

Besiktas is manager Slaven Bilic’s former side, and talks were supposedly going well before the bid was rejected by the club. West Ham want a clear answer from Besiktas, as talks continue.
