# Trabzonspor in talks with West Ham for Valencia

Turkish Super Lig side Trabzonspor are locked in talks with West Ham over signing striker Enner Valencia this summer, according [Turkish-Football](https://www.turkish-football.com/e12m-west-ham-striker-in-talks-with-turkish-super-league-club/).

It was reported on LigTv that the Black Sea are interested in signing the Ecuadorian international forward this summer and have submitted a loan offer with a view to buy next summer.

Super Lig rivals Galatasaray have also made a move to sign [Valencia](https://readlaliga.com/), offering the East London club €1m to take him on loan for the 2016/17 season with a view to buy next summer.

Serie A side AS Roma have also inquired[into the availability of the Ecuadorian this summer](https://readwestham.com/2016/06/27/roma-enquire-signing-enner-valencia/), however, the Hammers are believed to have informed Roma that they are looking for €21m (£17.5m) to part ways with Enner [Valencia](https://readlaliga.com/).

The striker netted four times in 19 appearances last season in a campaign heavily hit by injury, but a return of just 10 goals in 61 appearances in two years is not the return David Gold and David Sullivan were expecting.

His lack of club form doesn’t translate to the international stage. The Hammers signed [Valencia](https://readlaliga.com/) after he scored all three of Ecuador’s goals at the 2014 World Cup, and the 26-year-old scored twice in four games at this summer’s Copa America taking his tally for Ecuador to 16 goals in 29 games.

[West Brom](https://readwestbrom.com/) were said to be scouting [Valencia](https://readlaliga.com/) at the Copa America [ahead of a summer move](https://readwestham.com/2016/06/13/west-brom-interested-valencia/), while [talk of a move to Swansea is ‘nonsense’](https://readwestham.com/2016/06/20/valencia-link-swansea-nonsense/). There is [strong interest from the Bundesliga](https://readwestham.com/2016/06/15/bundesliga-interest-enner-valencia/) in the striker, who can also operate on the wing, but Turkish side [Trabzonspor have made their interest known](https://readwestham.com/2016/06/22/turkish-club-interested-in-enner-valencia/) in the West Ham man.
