# Swansea join West Ham in race for Zaza

According to [Calcio Mercato](https://www.calciomercato.com/), Swansea City have joined the race to sign [Juventus](https://readseriea.com/)striker Simone Zaza this summer.

Swansea join [Everton](https://readeverton.com/), [West Ham](https://readwestham.com/) and [Southampton](https://readsouthampton.com/) in the race for Zaza, as he looks set to leave Turin this summer. Zaza is looking likely to leave [Juventus](https://readseriea.com/) after his limited game time last season.

Zaza played in just 19 [Serie A](https://readseriea.com/) games for [Juventus](https://readseriea.com/) last season, scoring five goals in the process. Many of those appearances also came off the bench. Zaza found game time hard due to the presence of Alvaro Morata, Mario Mandzukic and Paulo Dybala in the [Juventus](https://readseriea.com/) squad.

The 24-year-old striker is currently away on international duty with Italy at the European Championships, which will give teams the best chance to see him first-hand.

It is thought that Zaza would cost somewhere in the region of £13.5m.

Swansea have also [joined](https://readwestham.com/2016/06/19/west-ham-make-e12m-bid-pereyra/) West Ham in the race for Juventus attacking midfielder Roberto Pereyra.
