# AC Milan set €16m asking price for Niang

AC Milan have informed clubs they will need to pay €16m if they wish to sign striker M’Baye Niang this summer after reports emerged that West Ham, Everton and Borussia Dortmund are all interested.

According to Tuttosport, quoted by [Inside Futbol](https://www.insidefutbol.com/2016/06/19/ac-milan-set-asking-price-for-everton-and-west-ham-target/291324/), the Serie A side will allow the Frenchman to leave the club if their asking price is met in full.

[It was reported last week](https://readwestham.com/2016/06/17/west-ham-submit-formal-offer-for-niang/) that the Hammers made an official bid to sign the 21-year-old forward, who was also being monitored by Everton.

However, Bundesliga giants Borussia Dortmund [have since made their interest known](https://readwestham.com/2016/06/18/borussia-dortmund-make-offer-hammers-target-niang/) in the France U21 international who has been in-and-out of the Milan team since signing in 2012.

Niang scored eight goals in 21 appearances for AC Milan last season but still hasn’t nailed down a place in their first-team. That, combined with the interest from around Europe has caused him to reconsider his future at the San Siro.

His agent, Moussa N’Diaye, recently confirmed there was interest from Germany and England but poured cold water on talk of offers for his client.

> Talk of formal offers for him is premature. There is interest, but no actual proposals yet. As happens in every transfer session, he is linked with many clubs. His potential emerged after the experience on loan at Genoa. His style of football is very interesting. There are several options, including in England and Germany, but no rush.
