Despite the current season being far from over for West Ham, work will already be taking place behind the scenes as manager Slaven Bilic and his recruitment staff begin to look ahead to the possible signings that they will be looking to make this summer.
With TV revenue increasing, there could well be more money than ever being thrown around and getting players in could be very, very difficult and very, very expensive.
However, the best signings aren’t always the most expensive signings and there are some high-quality players who will be available on free transfers in the summer as their contracts with their current clubs expire.
Of course, no transfer is ever really ‘free’, signing on fees etc. all add up, but there are still going to be some high-quality free agents available in the summer and we’ve selected who could realistically come to West Ham and add more quality to the squad as they prepare for the first year at the Olympic stadium.
