Fode has been with PSG since he was 11 and only has one-year left on his trainee deal with the club, which has alerted several Premier League outfits who are all eyeing a summer swoop.

West Ham had the youngster first recommended to them last season by scouts and have followed his progress since, and are now considering a move.

The left-winger, who can also play left-back, has made 10 appearances for PSG in the UEFA Youth League, scoring once as they lost to Chelsea in the final of the competition and has also impressed for their reserve side.

West Ham have been active in signing promising young talents in recent times. Last month they announced the signing of Toni Martinez from Valencia for a fee which could rise to £2.5m depending on performance-based bonuses. The striker officially joins on July 1st but has been training with the team since arriving.
