# Diafra Sakho’s West Ham future is in doubt

Controversy always seems to follow Diafra Sakho around.

In the past few years, he’s been spoken to by police about an alleged domestic assault, arrested for witness intimidation and he’s crashed his Lamborghini into somebody’s garden wall and just as things started to calm down around the striker, he’s in the headlines once again, albeit for a matter closely linked to football.

According to a report by Matt Law of [The Telegraph](https://www.telegraph.co.uk/football/2016/04/10/diafra-sakho-puts-west-ham-future-in-doubt-by-pulling-out-of-squ/), the striker pulled out of the matchday squad for the home game with Arsenal after being told he was not starting the game.

Despite training on Friday, Sakho reportedly told medical staff that his knee was sore and rather than spend the night in the team hotel, he returned home and also failed to attend the game at Upton Park.

The Senegalese striker posted an expletive message on Snapchat that evening, but claimed it was about a personal matter and wasn’t related to him being left out of the side.

West Ham must now decide if they are willing to overlook this recent outburst or if they’ll finally cut ties with the striker.
