Five Keys for West Ham ahead of Sunderland match

Saturday will mark Sam Allardyce’s first match at Upton Park since leaving West Ham at the end of last season.

It is the exact type of match environment Allardyce lives for: Big Sam’s club sits in 19th place and are in dire need of points.

I would expect the Sunderland bus to be parked in front of their goal, and lots of laughing from Allardyce if he manages a point or three (See West Ham 0-0 Chelsea, 29 January, 2014).

A West Ham victory will see the Hammers have the most points ever in the Premier League after 27 games.

In order to accomplish this, here are five things they’ll need to do against Sunderland.
