# West Ham fan to climb Mount Snowdon for charity

We’re always appreciative of those that put in the hard graft to raise money and awareness for causes that need them.

We were contacted today by Daniel Grindy who, along with mates Michael Moore, Lee Gardner and Rob Hutton, plan on climbing Mount Snowdon, and are raising money for Great Ormond Street Hospital is the process.

Daniel, a devoted West Ham fan for his whole life, will be wearing the famous claret & blue throughout the excursion, and will plant a West Ham shirt atop the mountain once he and his comrades reach the summit.

They set off on their trip on August 13th 2016, and are looking towards the West Ham online community to spare a few quid here and there to donate towards the cause if possible.

If you want to learn more about their climb, wish to make a donation to the cause or want to share it with your friends to raise awareness, here’s where you can do all of the above safely: [https://www.justgiving.com/LadsUpAMountain/?utm\_id…](https://www.justgiving.com/LadsUpAMountain/?utm_id=5)
