Manchester United 0-0 West Ham. If you just look at the score line then you would think, what a boring game. However it was the exact opposite. 0-0 is a very familiar result for Manchester United as they’ve recently been slated by critics as boring and defensive minded. I thought they responded well today to that criticism and retained the ball and created a few chances however the West Ham defence played out of their skin and managed to stop any chances from going in. Although Manchester United attacked Adrian’s goal, West Ham had the best three chances of the game, two hitting the post and one dragged wide by Mauro Zarate. So what can we learn from this fierce performance away at Manchester?
