# West Ham 1-1 West Brom: Player ratings

Following another slack performance from a weakened West Ham team, we look at the West Ham players ratings from the 1-1 home draw with the Baggies.

**Adrian – 8**

The Spaniard was arguably our best player yesterday. He didn’t have lots to do but definitely saved us from losing the game when called upon.

**Carl Jenkinson – 6**

There weren’t any mistakes this weekend by ‘Jenko’, however there was also nothing special. He did make some very lazy passes making it seem like he didn’t care.

**Angelo Ogbonna – 7**

One of the other few players that I thought played well. He kept Salomon Rondon quiet winning most aerial battles.

**Winston Reid – 6**

A solid performance from West Ham’s captain on the day. He was very unfortunate for the own goal. He seemed to struggle with the presence of Rickie Lambert in the second half.

**Aaron Cresswell – 6**

To be fair to Cresswell, he did what was asked of him. He kept Sessegnon in his pocket and his distribution was good as always.

**Cheikou Kouyate – 7**

The Senegalese international worked hard as always however was out played a little in the second half.

**Pedro Obiang – 6**

Not a great performance from the Spanish youngster however he hasn’t played in a while and has only recently returned from injury.

**Victor Moses – 5**

In my opinion, he was very quiet again. He looked scared to take players on and his final delivery let him down.

**Manuel Lanzini – 6**

The Argentine looked very confident on the ball running past players when there were no other options. He was very unselfish in his play however he just lacked the spark he has had in recent games.

**Mauro Zarate – 7**

A sublime free kick from the little magician. After being given a chance to play, Zarate had an amazing first half however in the second half he seemed to get a bit carried away, having speculative efforts when there were other options.

**Diafra Sakho – 7**

Another good performance from our main striker. Against most peoples expectations he won most aerial battles against the West Brom defence however he came off with an injury late on and he is rumoured to be out for a lengthy period.

**Subs**

**Andy Carroll – 5**

Lack of movement meant the ex-Liverpool man didn’t contribute anything to this game. Nothing inspirational and I worry now as he may be one of our main strikers for the next few weeks.

**Nikica Jelavic – 6**

The Croatian didn’t have much time to make an impact but he made the effort and tried to get into the right positions.

**Michail Antonio – N/A**

Only ten minutes on the pitch meant that he wasn’t able to make an impact. Unfortunate really as I think he deserves more of a chance.
