# Midfield duo return to full fitness

West Ham manager Slaven Bilic [says](https://www.london24.com/sport/football/clubs/west-ham/slaven_bilic_gives_update_on_midfield_selection_dilemma_with_mark_noble_suspended_1_4327626) that he will have both Alex Song and Pedro Obiang ready to face West Brom at the weekend.

The Hammers will be without the suspended Mark Noble for Sunday’s clash with Tony Pulis’ side, and Bilic confirmed that he will choose either Obiang or Song to replace him.

> Song is back and now we have Alex and Pedro Obiang to go. They are different situations. Pedro didn’t play for four weeks but he has played a few games and he has looked good in training. Alex played ten minutes against Spurs and he looks very good in training. His situation is a bit different because his break is longer. We will decide which one will play with Mark Noble suspended.

The two teams will go into the fixture after hugely contrasting results against North London-based opponents in their last outings.

West Ham were thrashed 4-1 at Spurs, while the Baggies defeated title-chasing Arsenal 2-1 at home, and Bilic said he is expecting a tough game, but reiterated the need for his side to start collecting more points after the little stutter they have had in recent weeks.

> We need to get some more points, we have one point in three games so we need to turn that around. They are a tough team so it will be a good game.

West Brom can move to within one point of the Hammers if they win the game at the weekend, something which looked a way off at the start of the season when the Baggies were struggling and West Ham were flying high.
