# Winger wants to complete West Ham move

Argentinian winger Manuel Lanzini, who is currently on loan at West Ham from Abu Dhabi-based side Al-Jazira, [says he is keen to make a permanent switch](https://www.dailystar.co.uk/sport/football/475657/West-Ham-Manuel-Lanzini-reveals-wants-stay-Premier-League) to the Hammers, despite [reports](https://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/liverpool-news-transfer-rumours-reds-6835127) linking him with a move to Liverpool.

The 22-year-old has scored three goals in 10 Premier League appearances for Slaven Bilic’s men and has been a major contributing factor to their positive start to their 2015/16 season.

Lanzini signed for Al-Jazira from River Plate in 2014, and despite having a positive experience in the Middle East, he says the tough conditions made playing football in that part of the world very difficult.

> I was there for a year. It took me a bit of time to adapt but overall it went well.I had to learn Engish to communicate, although the biggest challenge was the heat. In the summer, the heat was a killer. In winter, it is 32 degrees. In the summer, it can go up to 45 degrees. \[England\] is totally different.

He went on to say how much he is enjoying life in England, and London in particular, and how he is keen to make a permanent switch to West Ham.

> London is great – there is so much history and lots of places to discover. I love the one, two-touch football. I am working hard to try and stay here, which is what I want and hope it happens.

Lanzini also complimented West Ham boss Bilic, who he seemingly has a lot of respect for.

> He is a good coach, he reads the game well and everything he tells us we try to do because we know it will work out the way he says. We are on the right path.
