# West Ham keeping tabs on La Liga striker

[Calcio Mercato](https://www.calciomercato.com/news/west-ham-per-l-attacco-spunta-vela-915169) are reporting that West Ham are looking into the possibility of signing Carlos Vela. The former Arsenal forward has been linked with a move to the Hammers, who have already brought in attackers such as Antonio, Jelavic and Moses in the window just gone.

Although West Ham have a big interest in the Mexican, a host of MLS clubs are also reportedly interested in getting the 26-year-old’s signature.

He never really broke through at Arsenal as a top Premier League player and Slaven Bilic is looking to give him another chance in the English top flight. An attacking quartet of Moses, Payet, Vela and Sakho would be one that would excite all West Ham fans.

West Ham have had a decent start to the season and are a club that Carlos Vela may well be very interested in joining. However, the forward would not come cheap and West Ham would have to splash the cash if they were to get their man come January.
