# Revealed! New Squad Numbers Handed To Summer Signings

West Ham have allocated shirt numbers to new signings Carl Jenkinson and Angelo Ogbonna for the new season.

Sourced from [West Ham’s official registered squad](https://readwestham.com/2015/07/28/two-added-two-dropped-from-west-hams-europa-league-squad/) for the UEFA Europa League, the two defenders have been given new numbers.

England international right-back Carl Jenkinson, re-signed on a season-long loan from Arsenal earlier in the summer, did wear 18 last season, but has now switched to the number 12 shirt, last worn my forward Ricardo Vaz Te.

Italian international centre-back Angelo Ogbonna, signed in a £7.9m deal from Juventus to add some athleticism to the back four, has been assigned the number 22 shirt, last worn by goalkeeper Jussi Jaaskelainen.
