# West Ham Players React On Twitter To Southend Win

Here’s what the lads had to say on Twitter after the game.

Martin Samuelsen continued his impressive start to life as a West Ham player, bagging no less than three assists on the afternoon. He must be chuffed. We [exclusively spoke to him](https://readeverything.co/readwestham/2015/07/13/exclusive-interview-with-west-hams-newest-star-martin-samuelsen/) earlier in the month.

Stephen Hendrie also enjoyed himself, having made his first start for the Hammers since returning from his loan spell in Scotland.

Diego Poyet was keen to thank the fans for their support. He’s been a vital part of the pre-season setup thus far, and will be hoping that it continues.

Lewis Page came on as a substitute, and no goals were conceded during his spell on the playing field. Another Cresswell in the making?

Amos Nasha was pleased with getting another run out with the first-team squad this pre-season.
