West Ham could make a shock move for Tottenham forward Emmanuel Adebayor, according to the Brentwood Gazette.
The Hammers were boosted in their chase for the Togolese international earlier this year, but a deal has not been completed thus far.
Adebayor has found his playing opportunities limited since the arrival of manager Mauricio Pochettino at White Hart Lane, and the impressive form of Harry Kane has deemed the 31-year-old surplus to requirements.
Aston Villa are reportedly also interested in signing the Premier League man, as Tim Sherwood looks at potentially reuniting himself with the striker that he showed faith in. 2014/15 saw Adebayor score just two goals in eight league appearances for Spurs, but he has 41 goals in 106 games for the Lilywhites.
Having played for Arsenal, Real Madrid, Monaco and Manchester City, the international most definitely has the experience up front that Slaven Bilic so desperately needs in his team, as the Irons prepare for a hectic season.
