Celtic and Holland defender Virgil van Dijk is a target for West Ham this summer, according to London 24.
Van Dijk is being valued at around £9million; however he still has two years remaining on his current contract which would make it difficult to lure him away from Celtic Park.
Fellow Premier League sides Arsenal, Tottenham, Southampton and Sunderland are also reportedly interested in signing the Dutchman.
The 23-year-old joined the Scottish champions in 2013, and has won two consecutive league titles since making the move from Groningen.
He was quoted in the past seven days to have said that ‘sometimes it is time to make a move’, so we could yet see him in the top tier of English football.
Primarily a centre-back, van Dijk can also score goals having netted 15 times in the past two seasons in Scotland.
Celtic recently signed Dedryck Boyata from Manchester City so they would not be short on defensive cover.
