West Ham are reportedly interested in a summer move to sign Mexico international Miguel Layun.
The 29-year-old is currently on loan at Sevilla but is still contracted to FC Porto, with his future in Portugal appearing to be somewhat unlikely ahead of next season.
West ham are noted by Spanish news outlet Marca to have expressed an interest in signing Layun from Porto as they aim to bolster their wide defensive options this summer.

It’s claimed in the report that Sevilla have a clause included in their loan deal to sign Layun for a sum as low as €5 million from Porto – a price which would be met by West Ham with ease.
However, it appears as though Layun would be open to the idea of remaining in La Liga for the foreseeable future, with Sevilla pondering a permanent deal for the experienced Mexican star.
Layun does have a brief history of playing in the Premier League but did not enjoy an impressive spell during his tenure at Watford.
