West Ham, Wolves and Liverpool have all been told that £35 million would only be enough for just one of Jack Butland’s gloves this summer.
According to a report from the Birmingham Mail, Lambert has joked that Butland will cost much more than the reported £35 million this summer.
Butland is widely expected to leave Stoke after their relegation to the Championship was confirmed on Saturday afternoon.

The England international has been heavily linked with a move to Liverpool and West Ham, while Championship winners Wolves have also been linked with the player.
West Ham have been long-term admirers of Butland and could look to pounce on the uncertainty surrounding his future.
It is yet to be seen whether or not the Hammers will pursue a permanent deal for Joe Hart this summer.
David Moyes has rotated between both Hart and Adrian this season, but neither goalkeeper’s long-term future at the club is unclear.
