West Ham will reportedly issue Andy Carroll with a fine following his recent antics in training.
According to the Mirror, the England international will be subject to a charge worth £200,000 for his misconduct of late, following reports that he and manager David Moyes engaged in a spat on the training ground.
Carroll is understood to have departed the West Ham substitutes bench prior to the end of the team’s 4-1 defeat at home to Manchester City on Sunday. This is claimed to have angered Moyes, with Carroll then proceeding to confront the boss for not bringing him on in the match.
The former Liverpool striker is now staring at a considerable fine for his actions with the threat of losing two weeks’ worth of wages claimed to have been made by Moyes.
Carroll’s future at West Ham appears to be somewhat bleak, with Moyes reportedly set to continue next season as the club’s first-team manager.
