West Ham are reportedly taking an interest in Lyon striker Mariano Diaz ahead of the summer transfer window.
The forward has been in good form for the Ligue 1 giants so far this season and this appears to have piqued the interest of West Ham, if Calciomercato are to be believed.
The Italian outlet cite the Hammers as one interested party, with the Lyon star’s stock only increasing as the summer transfer window approaches.

West Ham are understood to be keen on recruiting a new striker in the summer, with the club still yet to adequately replace Andre Ayew and Diafra Sakho. The attacking pair left the club in January but were replaced by Jordan Hugill, who is yet to start a match in the first-team.
Diaz, 24, has found the net on 18 occasions in Ligue 1 this term, establishing himself as Lyon’s talisman. It’s claimed by Calciomercato that the French giants will demand a sum of approximately €30m for the player.
Everton are also named by Calciomercato as a potential suitor for the Spaniard.
