West Ham eyeing summer move for Gomes
West Ham are interested in signing Barcelona midfielder Andre Gomes in the summer.
According to The Mirror, West Ham and Tottenham are both keen on snapping up the central midfielder when the transfer window reopens in a few months time.
Gomes is expected to head to the World Cup in Russia this summer with Portugal, where he could attract more interest if he is able to impress.
West Ham were touted with interest in Gomes during the January window, but signed Joao Mario on loan from Inter Milan instead.
Gomes has struggled to make his mark on the first-team at Barcelona and is open to a move to the Premier League.
The 24-year-old has played 28 games for Barcelona this season in all competitions, after 47 appearances last season.
He has been capped 29 times by his country and was a key part of their European Championships success in 2016.
There is no mention of how much Barcelona would want for the Portuguese international.
