West Ham are thought to be interested in signing Burnley midfielder Steven Defour in the summer transfer window.
According to Belgian outlet Nieuwsblad, West Ham are set to battle it out with Everton for the midfielder as they look to bulk their midfield.
Defour has been impressing in the heart of Burnley’s midfield this season as they look to finish 7th in the Premier League, above Everton and West Ham.
David Moyes will be hoping he can call upon the Belgian to improve his side, if they can beat his former club Everton in the race for his signature.
The Belgian signed for Burnley at the start of last season and has been a consistent performer across the past two seasons.
His current contract with Burnley expires at the end of next season, which could tempt them into cashing in if Everton or West Ham came in with an offer.
