West Ham are one of two Premier League clubs looking at former Manchester United players Shinji Kagawa, according to reports in Germany.
FussballEck are reporting that Kagawa is one of West Ham’s Summer targets, with David Moyes looking for a reunion with the Japanese star.
Kagawa played at Manchester United with David Moyes, where the Scot had a difficult spell after replacing United Legend Sir Alex Ferguson at Old Trafford. Kagawa left Old Trafford in 2014, joining Borussia Dortmund.
The midfielder’s contract in Germany runs out in 2020, and West Ham and Everton are both taking a look at Kagawa. The Japanese player is expected to cost around €13 million for any potential suitors.
Kagawa had run in to some difficulty in Germany. However, since the arrival of Peter Stoger, Kagawa has been ever present in the side. He has been suffering from an ankle injury since February however, and has missed some time.
