PSG have reportedly joined the race for West Ham target William Carvalho ahead of the summer transfer window.
The Hammers are long-term admirers of Portugal international Carvalho and after failed attempts to land him last summer, they may look to revisit their interest in July.
However, if they are to do so, they will be faced with competition from one of European football’s heavyweights, as PSG eye a move for the Sporting CP midfielder.

It’s stated by French news outlet Foot Mercato, as cited in a report from talkSPORT, that Carvalho is one of PSG’s top priorities ahead of the summer.
Although, the Portuguese midfielder will not be a cheap acquisition for potential suitors. If reports are to be believed, Carvalho’s release clause at Sporting is in the region of £40m – almost double West Ham’s club-record transfer fee.
Carvalho will want to end the season strongly with Sporting, as interest continues to build ahead of the summer.
