David Gold and fellow West Ham board members are fighting to ensure that the club are not forced to play a Premier League game behind closed doors.
The Express reports that Gold will work closely with Karren Brady and the Mayor of London Sadiq Khan to ensure there is not a repeat of what happened against Burnley.

Reports have suggested the club could be punished by being forced to play a game behind closed doors.
When the two sides met in the Premier League several fans ran onto the pitch, confronting the West Ham players in an attempt to vent their frustration against the club’s board.
As well as fans entering the pitch during the game, a section of fans made their way to the section of the stadium where the board members sit, which saw both Gold and David Sullivan escorted from their seats before the end of the match with concerns for their safety.
