Galatasaray are interested in signing former Liverpool and Manchester City striker Mario Balotelli on a free transfer from Nice at the end of the season, but Turkish outlet ASpor believe that they will face competition for his signature from West Ham.
Balotelli has scored 21 goals in 32 games for Nice this season and with his contract expiring, his good form has led to a number of clubs looking to sign him on a free transfer.

Galatasaray are the favourites to sign the Italian international, and reports suggest that they’ve already held talks with his agent, but ASpor believe that West Ham are ready to hijack the deal.
The 27-year-old has turned his career around since the poor spell at Liverpool and at Nice, he’s looked back to a level close to his best. Many people were expecting him to be in the latest Italy squad, but he wasn’t selected.
West Ham are desperate to find a striker and Balotelli, if he fires, could certainly be the man they need to put the ball in the back of the net on regular occasions.
