Amid discontent from the club’s supporters, the Evening Standard report that West Ham’s owners will indeed be in attendance for their side’s crucial clash against Southampton at the end of the month.
There have been numerous calls in recent weeks for co-owners David Sullivan and David Gold to be absent from the team’s games at the London Stadium.
The growing frustration among West Ham’s supporters reached boiling point in the club’s recent 3-0 defeat to Burnley at home. Fans from the home end invaded the pitch and fights broke out in the stands among the Hammers faithful.

This forced both Sullivan and Gold to leave the match early in order to avoid the worst of the crowd trouble and protests towards them.
As a consequence of the outburst from sections of the West Ham support, the co-owners were reportedly warned against turning up for the game against Saints.
However, this will not be the case and the Evening Standard state that the owners plan to watch on as David Moyes’ side aim to secure a vital three points.
