In an ugly afternoon, West Ham suffered a 3-0 defeat to Burnley in a game disrupted by crowd troubles.
West Ham owners David Sullivan and David Gold were told to leave the ground early, as mass protests erupted over the pair’s ownership of the club.
Ashley Barnes put Burnley ahead in the 66th minute. This resulted in a fan invading the pitch and having an incident with Mark Noble. The West Ham captain pushed the invader leading to him being picked up by security.
Substitute Chris Wood would then go on to score two goals for Burnley, condemning West Ham to defeat on a distasteful afternoon in East London.
The result leaves West Ham just three points away from the relegation zone, with both Stoke and Crystal Palace having a game in hand on the Hammers, with Palace set to face Chelsea later on.
