Mauro Lovisa, the club president of Serie C side Pordenone has confirmed that West Ham are interested in signing goalkeeper Marco Meneghetti from the Italian club.
The 17-year-old, who broke into the Pordenone first team earlier this year, was linked with a move to West Ham at the weekend and Lovisa has confirmed that there is more to the links than just paper talk.
Speaking to Tuttomercatoweb, Lovisa confirmed that West Ham have made an approach for Meneghetti but also said that Inter Milan are also keeping a close eye on him.
Marco Meneghetti is in the sights of the Hammers. I have the official e-mail from the British club. The fact is that Marco also interests Inter.

Aged 17, it would be highly unlikely that Meneghetti signed at West Ham as a first team player but with Adrian’s future still uncertain and with Joe Hart unlikely to make his loan move a permanent deal, it makes sense for the Hammers to be keeping their options open.
If he does sign for the Hammers, Meneghetti would likely go into the academy structure for at least a year.
